What do podiatrists do?

The most common question we're asked is—what do podiatrists do?

Odds are, we can help you with a lot more than you think.

We're all about the advanced study and care of feet and legs, including their anatomy, pathology, biomechanics, gait analysis and medical and surgical treatment.

We 'mobilise' stuck joints, which means which means releasing stuck or restricted joints in your feet and legs.

Our corrective therapy and follow-up exercises will kick start your body's natural repair mechanisms.

These exercises will aim to improve your strength, stability and ability to stretch.

We can also fit you for orthotics and tailor them so they perfectly fit your feet and your shoes.

We also treat fungus and reduce thickened nails, organise treatment for foot infections and treat callouses and corns.

Mobilising, treating, correcting and helping—all in a day's work!
